The crabby ladies put baking on hold to host seminars on creative writing with a panel of publishing and broadcast experts answering questions on how to get started.

14:30 in the Quaker Meeting House, tickets £5. Approx 90 minutes.

Seminar 1 on 18th August will be chaired by Georgina Lock, Senior Tutor in Creative Writing at Nottingham University, and panel will include author, humorist and survivor Lynn Ruth Miller.

Seminar 2 on 25th August will be chaired by Fiona Sturgeon Shea, Director of Scottish Playwrights Studio, and the panel will include; actress comedienne and writer Kerry Howard, James Kettle stand up comedian and comedy writer for the BBC, and Sylvia Dow who after a long career in the Arts and education has now turned her hand to becoming a playwright.
